"Qn on How Sacrifice (Pal) works"
|
Sacrifice supposed to take 8% of your dmg from your HP. But how does it calculate that? I mean If you had: - a monster that has 10 HP - you do 1000 dmg (humor me) - you have 20% life Leech (9% on Weap, 5% on Amy, 6% on ring)How much dmg do I take/leech back?? Is it: 1. I take 8% of 1000 and leech back 12% of 1000 2. I take 8% of 10 and leech back 12% of 10 3. I take 8% of 1000 and leech back 12% of 10 4. I take 8% of 10 and leech back 12% of 1000 ?? Also, will this also work well if none of my items have greater than 8% life leech? eg. 4 items with 5% life leech? In theory I guess so but I'm not sure about in practice. Also if you miss a target, (not high enough AR) do you still take the 8% dmg? This is because, although I use Sacrifice and have more than 8% leech, I seem to be steadily losing a little HP every time I swing. Is it due to missing the target? I was also wondering if using max Conc Aura and Sacrifice is biting off more than I can chew (or leech in this case)? Is it possible to kill yourself due to leech back less than the dmg you do? Or is it just that you need enough HP sitting in your life orb to sustain the 8% dmg first? I was wondering what are the factors that discourage the use of Sacrifice with Conc. Aura. If there really isn't any, I might consider trying that out. Thanks in advance!

In other words, you end up with a net loss of 78 life (ouch!) -- Addiction Addiction's Diablo II Statistics Guide P.S. To anyone who knows: why isn't the picture in my sig showing up? |

...and that's the one I use in my sig. I don't use any images on the site itself in order to keep loading times down for those of us on dialup connections. Anyway, I guess I'll just put the pic on my AOL account... -- Addiction Addiction's Diablo II Statistics Guide -- New version 1.02 coming soon! |

LAST EDITED ON 04-14-01 AT 04:41 PM (PDT) LAST EDITED ON 04-14-01 AT 04:39 PM (PDT) I had a page like that, no images at all, no links, just a paragraph of text and a text based counter P.S. Addiction, the old sig doens't work until you visit the page at least once. The new one brings up File Not Found errors Edit: Rephrase Faithfully knightScape |
