This is in 1.08, dunno yet if this happens in LoD as well. I'll pick up LoD tomorrow and check.I set my automap to NOT recenter automatically when I close/open it. I like it in the same spot. Everything worked fine before 1.08.
Now, if I open and close a left-side window (such as the quest window, the waypoint window, or the character info window) the automap recenters itself. It doesn't do this if I open right-side windows, such as the inventory.
This is annoying because I don't like to play with the automap centered in the middle, because it obscures my character.
Another automap related bug: In the automap options, you can move the selector to a blank spot above the list of options. If you push the left or right arrow key (to adjust the setting) it crashes the game. I suspect this is related to the missing "mini automap" option in 1.08.
