Added the Scene Info section to reduce the mystery of some of the things in the scene, such as the mysterious and enigmatic Landru. Also, finished up Charis' Low-AC Warrior and Equipment Guide along with Armin's BNM Tips and Tricks. Both are in the Strategy section. Now it's up to the DSF'ers to send me or supply me with some good stuff - I know you all have juicy strat sitting around! Get it immortalized here, I'll have it up in a flash. The strategy section is so small, and needs your help...*begin infomercial* :-)

By the way, anyone have Crystallions post about the "bug" with fire and lighting arrows? Yeah, stuff got changed. This is the last time I'll mention it in the news though, since it's not really news. The only site changes that will appear in the news from now on are strategy and/or links additions.

Lack of news. Usual occurrence on weekends. Not only that, but I have to get out and actually get some strategy to put up here, posts or articles that preferably don't appear anywhere else on the 'Net. Prime examples of these are posts done on the DSF long ago that haven't been seen since. I'll be trying to get in touch with various writers of good strategy to see if I can host their strats.

Work continues on the site. Nobody knows about it yet. So, why am I making these updates? To get a feel on what I want this thing to look like. The Links section was wrapped up, and I'll be working on the Strategy part this weekend. Then I have some other miscellaneous things to slide in here before I go public. I do like seeing the fast load times of this all-text site, however, so don't look for any fancy graphics coming in soon.
Bolty's DSC is born. Boy, it's ugly. I'm working on it. Hopefully it'll be less ugly as time goes on. :-) Welcome one and all to this little corner of the web. What's this all about? Well, mostly it's my crash course in HTML. It's also, however, my attempt at setting a stage for the Diablo strategy scene, i.e. the DSF, the Asylum, and all the regs, sites, strats, etc held therein. I plan to do this in three main ways.
First, by keeping the best dang links section in the Diablo scene. I want a one-stop-shop to get to all the best strategy and other useful things Diablo related (gee, that sounds familiar somehow..."useful list..."). And they'll be up to date. Secondly, by providing a home for good DSF posts (or strategy articles elsewhere) much like Varaya did in his Strategy Forum Archive. Over my 2 years of reading the DSF I've seen many good posts get lost. Hopefully this site can save some of them. Last, but not least, will be a news page (the one you're on) which will track events in the scene, point out interesting posts, and raise awareness of the fantastic environment shared by the DSF posters and readers. The goal for me is to provide you with a site you can check often to stay on top of recent events in all things Diablo (and Diablo II, when it comes).
How is this different from other Diablo news sites? While they concentrate on Blizzard news and facts about Diablo II, this site's purpose is much more focused: it deals with the strategy side of things and how they affect the Diablo strategy community. So, for instance, you won't see a news item with "New Screenshot of the Week!" here. I wouldn't even want to compete with fantastic Diablo news sites like Diabloii.Net.
Be prepared for mass changes to the site at any time. I don't really like how it looks now but I have to figure out how to get it the way I want before I can actually do it! The goal is a very fast loading, plain site...which is also necessary since I only have 2 megabytes to work with anyhow! Suggestions are very welcome.
