Two Diablo sites have disappeared today. Woody's Diablo Asylum has officially closed. Read Woody's final letter for a full explanation and a look to the future. Goodbyes are going around on the Asylum Message Board. I'd like to personally thank Woody for starting a movement that added to the longevity and interest of Diablo for hundreds of players, and for providing a home for that movement for so long. Secondly, Roland's Newbie Guide to Diablo has taken a nasty dive due to a system crash. It's apparently gone for good, as Roland states on the DSF. A terrible loss. Small personal statement: I suppose changes are inevitable as we are in this transition period between the original and the sequel of Diablo. The goal of the Lounge remains the same, however: the preservation of good strategy and the promotion of discovery into the game's inner workings. Sometimes I don't thank people enough for their contributions, for the Lounge is truly a site made by the community, not by any one person. The willingness of so many people to help make this site what it is today overwhelms me sometimes, and I'd just like to again give the community a high five and a hearty thank you. This is a very exciting time for Diablo fans, with D2 possibly just a month or two away.
