And I haven't gotten it damaged yet, I suppose, because the rare boots' durability is still 7 of 7...

It's not a bug. If an item has the self-repair (or self-replenish) property, it can repair itself even if it's ethereal. If you break it, it stays broken, though (exception: self-replenishing throwing weapons do come back from an empty stack).

It's not a bug. To some people, it's a saving grace.

i dont think he's saying that the boots have that mod on them
they just don't seem to lose any durrability
if so how long have you had them? has your other equipment lost durrability?

There's no need to bump months-old posts

.
All we know is that the boots had 7/7 durability when they were checked. The self-repair should be fast enough to keep up with any damage the boots suffer, making full durability quite common. So there's nothing out of the ordinary.

Anything can have self repair. Even if it is ethereal. Thats a mod, not a bug. Ethereal items can recieve any bonus a normal item can recieve, Even indestructability. Like once I found an ethereal kris of the ages (ages is an indestructible mod)

Good point.
If it doesnt have that mod, then it is either a coincidence or possibly a bug.
