Given that this is a Blizzard Game, and given that D II had the "Cow Run" mentality for a while, I'd be surprised if more regular cows didn't die on a daily basis, just from force of habit.

For GG's gnome warrior, it's the squirrels that die horrible deaths whenever they are seen. Squirrels are a little scary when you're a tiny gnome.
