If for no other reason, the last 3 seconds of this are made of win! I was in stitches the whole way.

We did a new video with the guy from the Time Gnomes and produced and edited by Jun from Stone Falcon (makers of Snacky's Journal).

Absolute.
Pure.
Awesome.

Just the humor value of having characters from three different hilarious series together made it instantly funny. Never mind that it was also well scripted. I think it's really fantastic that the makers of Snacky's Journal, Jimmy: a World of Warcraft Story, and The Grind (all series I've already plugged heavily) can work collaboratively like that. And Mr. Teeth.

Mojache: "I don't know who should win; all these pumpkins suck."
Drewbie: "You're not an authority on pumpkins."
Mojache: "Well, they picked ME for a judge here, didn't they?"
Drewbie: "That's because Jimmy the Mage wasn't available."

Assuming you guys get a download link up at some point, here's a link for it at WarcraftMovies. Youtube video quality is teh crap!

Oh, and naked Drewbie who still keeps his "***damn Bloodfang Hood" on is rich.

If only you had Nynnja. Then it would have been perfect. Needs more Nynnja. Tell MacHeath that we need an episode all about Nynnja.

Nyhm's back with his latest music video, Hard Like Heroic. Keep watching after the credits for a joke about Illegal Danish.

I should look for a better quality but:

Thanks to WarcraftMovies.com's machinima contest, The Fabled Few, there's been a rush of great movies lately. See Among Fables and Men, Evolution, Limited Escapism: To Cure a Hangover, Black Rose, Teh N00b Song, Netherwing: The Movie, and Rush.

Wait - stop what you're doing and go watch The World of Warcraft Unofficial Patch Trailer right now. Come back when you're done laughing.

Loved the Lemmings reference.

Merry Christmas from Chiron Beta Prime!

Song by Jonathan Coulton, video by spiffworld.

The new Fury Trailer is pretty sexy. No, this isn't the other Fury trailer, this is a new one.

This one has correct grammar - AND decapitations! Could it get any better? smile.gif

If you have the bandwidth and an hour and a half to spend, you might want to check out Tales of the Past III. The lore is somewhat disappointing, but it is an amazing movie nonetheless.

The big news over the last few weeks was that Hell froze over and Illegal Danish 2: Escape from Orgrimmar was finally released. People panned it because the wait was so long, they were expecting the greatest movie of all time or something. It's funny, go watch it.

Also, added The National Discovery, Unlimited Escapism: Volume 4, Welcome to the Jungle, Ultimate Dreamscape, and Arithmomania.

Finally, if you've been following WoW machinima at all, you've already heard of Tales of the Past III. Checking in at a whopping 89 minutes and 2.5 gigs, it's not just the most incredible piece of machinima ever made for World of Warcraft, it's one of the greatest machinimas ever made in any medium. The creator worked on it for a year and a half, steadily, every day. It shows. The first 3 minutes alone could very well be its own movie and still be absolutely incredible. This is the Lord of the Rings of WoW, the movie everything else will be compared to for years. It's so far above and beyond anything else ever made...well, anyway, you get the point.

Isn't machinima the medium?

*Shameless self-plug incoming*

My camp has the first and only kid's program that teaches machinima in the world.

Here's one such movie made by a 13 year old camper in just a few days.

Okay, today's treats include Azerothian Super Villians Episode 4, Azerothian Super Villians Episode 5, The More You Know About Christmas, and Baron Soosdon's latest (and very not safe for work at all) movie, Rock Rockin' Tha Spot.

Beginning to wonder what happened Mac, Drewbie, and the gang... unsure.gif

I need more quotes for guild chat dammit! whistling.gif

Added the Empire Guild's awesome Burning Crusade: The Movie (go download it!).

Meanwhile, MacHeath, Drewbie, and the Grind gang have been busy NOT making the Grind Episode III but rather putting out their new series, Inside World of Warcraft. Watch the Trailer followed by Episode 1. Try not to laugh too hard as they rip on Tales of the Past III.

Yes, but this one I would say is his worst. To me it was a big let down compared to his other raps/songs.

Nyhm once again with Assassinate. This one's about rogues.

Not going to make it on the permanent list, but I wanted to point out a movie here. Blizzard released their Fury of the Sunwell trailer, and verily, it was good. So of course people had to make fun of it.

The Real Fury of the Sunwell Trailer was just released, featuring the Kael'thas you know and love from the Azerothian Super Villains series. Heh.

Added Acolyte 1.5, an action flick re-enacting the Battle of Darrowshire. Also, possibly the coolest guild recruitment ad ever made, The Line Must be Drawn Here. Holy crap.

Don't miss Unstunted: Volume II. There really isn't a Volume I, so you're not missing anything. It's an impressive 3D animation about Gnome Justice (and rampages). NSFW.

Nyhm again with My Name is Nyhm. Be sure to stick around after the credits are over.

Azerothian Super Villians - Episode 6. Heh.

Finished my new video smile.gif.

Another music video along the lines of my first one (We've Got Everything You Need), but with a different message:

Loved it, Trien.

I am not as devoted to the druid class as you are, but I am still a druid. smile.gif

Long-time-coming update:

The Bountiful Chest, The Demise, Busted, The Best Kept Secret of the Horde, WoW That's Irregular, The Rumpus Machine, Snacky's Journal Episode 4, Divided Soul, and Empire Guild's Sunwell.

Also massively edited the list, removing descriptions and such - it was just getting bloated. Removed PvP vids (well, all one of them).

Did I miss anything decent recently?

-Bolty

I didn't want to keep coming here whoring our stuff, but I'm glad to see you liked our latest effort, "The Rumpus Machine."

You may or may not have noticed that the character of the "whiny dwarf" was voiced by none other than Nynnja.

I found myself hating the machine. I wanted it to die and did not get satisfaction. whistling.gif

One of the problems with WoW Machinima in general is that it has matured so much as a medium. Movies that years ago would be considered top-notch would be also-rans nowadays and probably wouldn't even get on my list. I mean, look at Snacky's Journal Episode 4 and compare it to, say, Illegal Danish: Zinwrath. The video editing and voice acting is just so far above.

Certainly Oblivious Films is part of the "problem," yes. If the Grind Episode 3 were ever released, it would likely be crushed under the weight of the expectations of the fans. When people say "good, but not as good as the Grind" to new machinima comedy makers, it discourages them from even trying.

TLDR: It's all MacHeath's fault.

AFK PL@YERS are back with Wrath of a Couch Potato. These are the Tawianese fellas who brought you the mage Ah-ha, who makes a cameo appearance. It's rare that a movie makes me actually laugh out loud, and this one did...multiple times.

Here tooting my own horn again.

Jun from the Snacky's Journal movies and Macheath of our crew teamed up for the 48-hour film project and produced the comedy Musical Things You Need. Unfortunately, they missed the contest deadline by a couple minutes and were disqualified, but the film is still fantastic, regardless of it's lack of Drewbie.

I know. It's sad really. When they told me when the contest was going on, I was sad to see I had a previous engagement that weekend and couldn't be a part of it. Rumor is that there is a sequel in the works that might feature everyone's favorite Bloodfang hooded rogue.

Course, I'm known to make stuff up. After all, I did say we'd be done with The Grind: Episode 3 at some point in time wink.gif

Finally got a chance to check it out and found it very impressive for 48 hour turn around. =)

I saw this when it came out, it's quite good. Didn't add it to the list at the time because, due to the rush job, it doesn't really compare to your other works. So I just watched it again and realized that it's still better than 99% of the other movies out there. Jeez. That's...sad?

Also added The Craft of War: BLIND, which, unless you're the one person on the Internet who hasn't seen this by now, should be of no surprise. This is one of those machinimas that just raises the bar for everyone else.

Removed the Fury trailer, since Fury is never coming out due to its work being lost by the creator in a tragic computer crash.
