Lawyers -- the other dark meat. - kandrathe - 06-23-2010

Think Geek has been hit with the best Cease and Desist order ever!

Now I wish I actually could get some canned Unicorn, for a new magical twist to pizza burgers.

Oh, they think this is just Big Pork calling them out. But we know better. This has Unicorn Power written all over it.

I swear, those unicorns are worse than Scientology.

Lol. In truth, I actually inherited a recipe for pizza burgers from my grandmother which involves the diabolic combination of Velveeta and Spam, spread on bleached white flour hamburger buns.

It's already so blooming evil, we might as well season with ground unicorn horn, and ground fairy wings for zest.

I understand vigilent copyright/patent protection, and yes it may even be necessary to defend against a product or service that doen't exist, but coupled with their intention to rebrand anyway, the Pork Board may have just paid their lawyers a bit much to issue a letter to a website. Regardless, they've got people talking about pork, so they got something out of it. By the way, I heard a great joke via online video yesterday...

How do you keep bacon from curling in a pan?

Take away it's tiny brooms.
