1.11.2 Bug-Fix Patch Released - MongoJerry - 07-11-2006 A new mini-patch is available for download. It's about 5 megs. If the normal Blizzard downloader doesn't work for you try, one of these: Filefront Fileplanet (looks like it needs a subscription to download) Fileshack (You don't actually need an account, but the download speed is capped, and the website will try to bully you into getting an account for a while) Quote:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1.11.2 Bug-Fix Patch Released - Xanthix - 07-11-2006 A fix that did not make it to the patch notes is that AddOns that play sound files from outside the games will now work again. So in-game MP3 players will once again work. 1.11.2 Bug-Fix Patch Released - lfd - 07-12-2006 And one thing broken in the patch, on the EU servers at least, is the dressing room. Characters are appearing without the vast majority of their clothing, including in some cases the item you're trying to view in there. Unit testing? We've heard of it. 1.11.2 Bug-Fix Patch Released - Quark - 07-12-2006 Blizzard made some changes to the UI scripting to enforce the Inspect distance limits properly (byebye SuperInspect, basically). In the process, they managed to break many things. One script still actually breaks the Inspect limit (will be fixed in 1.12). You can still inspect people from far away, but their item slots are empty. Haven't seen it, but supposedly hovering over an item slot still gives you the real item's tooltip. Dressing Room is a mess. Slouken said, as a compromise, Inspect distance will about double in 1.12. By fixing Furor (stay in combat, keep extra rage for bear), they managed to break Furor (don't gain energy for cat). I'm thinking this is about the 7th time that Furor has been broken in one way or another. And the current bug was definately acknowledged by Blizzard before 1.11.2 was released. As the previous one was known before 1.11 was released. They really need to get whoever works on Furor out of their office, and assign someone else to it (who knows, maybe this was the guy that messed with Rogue skills in 1.8-1.11). 1.11.2 Bug-Fix Patch Released - nobbie - 07-12-2006 Quote:- Fixed an issue where players with the Heart of the Wild talent wereUnforunately, they just added a new Furor bug for Druids: If you switch into Cat form, you don't gain 40 Energy instant anymore ... how lame. Also, each Claw still plays the Priest Shield sound. Should we stay awake while grinding, or for what is this for? 1.11.2 Bug-Fix Patch Released - Treesh - 07-13-2006 They also took out the graphics for the crown of the fire festival, not just the inventory icon, but also for the display on the character. Mogo wants her halo back! 1.11.2 Bug-Fix Patch Released - Monkey - 07-14-2006 Quote:Also, each Claw still plays the Priest Shield sound. Should we stay awake while grinding, or for what is this for? Blizzard hates feral druids. I read a post in the general forums by a level 5 druid that said giving all druids innervate was a nerf to feral druids. At level 5, players are untarnished by evil, barely away from Aldrassil, so his words must be true. 1.11.2 Bug-Fix Patch Released - MongoJerry - 07-14-2006 The Instructor fight in Naxxramas was changed slightly in that the Shield Wall ability of the students (the ones you Mind Control to tank him) was reduced from a minute to 30 seconds. This helped our raid already in that last night, our other MC'er messed up and wasn't able to get his next student up to tank the boss quickly enough. So, I kept my student in there and after taking a heavy amount of damage for 10 seconds, I was able to shield wall again and hold things up for an extra 20 seconds I wouldn't have been able to have done before. (Before this patch, the student would have died from taking so much damage). |
