I'm afraid people just prefer candidates who present their ideas in the most incomprehensible and convoluted way possible. Someone that says something that actualy makes sense might not work. You know, politicians is all complex and stuff. And you have to be pretentious. All about image!

I'm afraid the candidate that throws out a shiny object to distract the audience will probaly win. ;p
