Americans believe that Christianity is more redemptive than Buddhism

Although, I bet the percentage of Americans who know anything substantial about Buddhism is only slightly higher than the number of Buddhists.

I'd guess considerably lower than the number of Buddhists. Most people haven't a clue about the religion they claim to follow, much less than any other religion. I suspect that the American Buddhists are no different.
