So last night I installed Diablo 1 for the first time ever, Virginity Gone!
I spent about an hour playing it and I'm hooked!
Previous to this I had only ever played Diablo on the Sony Playsation 1 (And of course Diablo II and 3 but I could write a book on those so let's stay on topic).
What a huge difference! I really didn't favor the Playstation version much, and I always thought the PC version was identical so I never bothered looking back. I'm so glad my friend had troubles installing it and asked me to help him.
Now I'm currently heavily involved in a Diablo II project, well a couple actually but I'm going to try and find the time to work on a Diablo 1 project or two as I got a few inspiring ideas after installing it last night.
I can see this is going to be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. <3
Edit: Just in case anyone was wondering...
Diablo 1.09 + Hellfire 1.0.1 + No CD + Multiplayer + Command.txt + PatchHelp (And all without the use of the Hacked Hellfrui.dll ;P)
