I suppose Life Tap makes many difficult encounters much easier then... Will be on the lookout for Dracul's then. Or perhaps a partied Necro can cast Life Tap for me.

You can even just buy a wand with life tap charges (until your Dracul's procs you are vulnerable, this is a good idea even with Dracul's).

BTW, does Life Tap work for monsters that have 0% drain effectiveness (ie. monsters which cannot be life/mana-stealed)?
