So Lasuk will add 4 sockets instead of one to an unsocked monarch, is this true for any other items, I never heard of this. Is there a place I can read more about it?

Larzuk will always give non-magical items the maximum amount they can have. This depends on both the base item and the ilvl. Use the calculators in my signature to see exactly what the different items have. It'll list the max sockets as a set of three numbers: one for ilvl 1-25, one for ilvl 26-40, and one for ilvl 41+.
