Weapons

Axes (and throwing axes)

Axes can be either 1 handed or 2 handed.
Some 1 handed axes can be thrown.

Bows (and crossbows)

Both of them are listed in the same table.
However, do not compare the speed against them.
A speed 0 bow will be faster than a speed 0 crossbow.

Claws

Claws are assassin only weapns.
An assassin can wield 2 claws just as a barbarian can wield 2 one-handed weapon.

Javelins

Javelins are one-handed weapon, and can be thrown.
Javelins cannot be socketed.

Knives (and throwing knives)

Knives or some call them daggers are 1 handed weapons.

Maces (clubs, hammers and scepters)

These weapons do blunt damage and does an extra 50% damage to undead by default.

Polearms

These weapons are all two-handed.

Spears

These weapons are all two-handed.
Some spears might be usable by an Amazon only.

Staves (and orbs)

These weapons can add to sorceress' skills.
Staves are 2 handed weapons that can be used by any class,
while orbs are one-handed weapons that can only be used by a Sorceress.

Swords

Swords can be one-handed or two-handed.
However, even the two-handed swords have damage listed for one-handed.
This is because a Barbarian can wield a two-handed sword in one hand.

Wands

Wands cannot be socketed and are wield in one hand.
