We just switched to Raidcall from Vent because...it's free. It's kind of like the Windows of VOIP. A lot of the power user functions are either obscured or outright removed, but if all you want is to be able to yell at a couple of people, it gets the job done. I'd rather be on something else, though.
Edit: For all its faults, Raidcall is orders of magnitude better than Skype. Skype isn't even particularly good at its intended function, and that function is not gaming VOIP. Stay away from it IMO.
