There were some issues at character creation right at the start, but once we all started getting in around 1-2am, it's been pretty smooth sailing as far as the game goes. We've been careful not to log out try to log back in, but honestly, considering the scale of what they're trying to accompish, the launch has gone pretty well.

1:55 p.m. PDT - Starting at approximately 2:15 p.m. PDT, we will be bringing Diablo III servers in the Americas offline for urgent maintenance to address several issues that are impacting the game. Not so smooth as those of us who never left a game since they first logged in would know about. I imagine they'll have this sorted out sooner rather than later. Guess it's time to go play with the cats.
