"Question for Spirea about Sets (v1.45)"
|
LAST EDITED ON 05-25-01 AT 10:23 PM (PDT) What does the 2 pieces bonus, 3 pieces bonus etc. mean on each individual item attributes? Does that mean that you have to wear that many items of the set just to activate attributes on each item? Let's say for example if I only have a Civerb's Ward on, it won't have the + to mana? and if I put on the amulet then I'd get +mana on the shield and 25% cold resist on the ring? If that is the case, then Blizzard has just nerfed set items and I'm crying foul. What happens with Bul-Kathos' Children set which only has two items in it but has the 3 pieces bonus, 4 pieces bonus under the items? ...I probably could've worded this into one question but I want to make sure I'm making myself clear. Thanks in advance. |

A 2 pieces bonus on individual item means that the item will get a bonus when you wear one other item from the same set. I was told that my decode is not accurate enough in certain cases. Check the Arreat Summit for the official decode.http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp The Civerb's individual bonus seems to be particular to specific item, not just any one other item. I could not figure out how that is the case from the mpq file. Or maybe that information isn't in the mpq file. (:

The information is in the MPQ, you just have to know how to read it. As for the person asking below with the screenshot: this is what I like to call a Default Bonus. That is, the item will gain the additional 1-5 stats without needing to wear additional items. All the new sets in D2X use this default bonus type. Only the old sets use additional/specific bonuses, with civerb's set being the only one that used specific bonuses. Complete and accurate set item info will be posted on dii.net within the week.
