"Plague Javelin (C or E)"
 
   Does this skill stack with poison mods the way poison dagger does? this would be quite viable in the expansion since you can get insane poison mods on any weapon including javs and javazons need to find lightning immunes somehow.

   Hail El Hombre,

If you stack a heap of poison damage gear together you'll be stacking the damage exactly the same as a Necro does BUT it only effects a single opponent - the poison cloud will still do the same damage. Even without stacking poison gear, though, Plague Javelin will be great against Lightning Immunes - you will poison them twice per attack once it's a decent level

   I guess that makes sense.. albeit sadly. Thanks elric, very cool animation. and same to you about the wind on the heels thing... does anybody know what the timer on Plague Javelin is? shouldn't be a huge deal if the poison duration is as long as the timer but still good to know...
In CD2 I use Plague to take out sparky but I guess that won't be an issue. How do you figure about poisoning the guy twice?

   Hail El Hombre,

There is no timer on Plague Javelin - I have never heard of it lowering the frame rate, and that was the idea behind spell timers (to prevent that). As for Poisoning twice, at about lvl3 a small part of the cloud lasts long enough to occationally poison something a second time (the cloud lasts longer than the poison) - at about lvl10 you consistantly repoison the entire group! I had fun in the Cow Level

   there is a timer on plague javelin in the x-pack
of 3-4 seconds

   But it doesn't matter without Plague javelin shes screwed against lightning immunes... so people will use it any way and you aren't even my real father.
