Just wanted to draw your attention to the setup of the new forum. Active posts get "bumped" to the top, whereas those without any replies get pushed down. What does this mean? It means that the most effective way to deal with trolls is to simply ignore the post. It will fade away while real strategy moves to the top. Please keep in mind that when flaming, all you accomplish is keeping the thread "active".

I know it's obvious, but sometimes the most obvious things are the last ones that people (including myself) figure out. =o)

Hate to say it, but Zara's right. Trolls won't be bright enough to realize that some people will choose to sort threads differently. Then there are always those who will sort by last updated. (I'm going to try that for a while, see what I think).

That "last updated" is the default sorting means most people will use it that way, and many will not realize, no matter how many times they are told, that there are other options.

Trolls will be encouraged by this, as their ramblings will not disappear with certainty after a few days. So... don't feed the trolls.
