Really really good. I've played every TW RTS since shogun 2. Since kandrathe covered a more detailed perspective I'll be more brief. You missed out on advances in Attila and it's way of keeping late game interesting throughout. Those and simplified but elegant economy methods with unique rewarding gameplay styles for each faction make the game soooo good. I liked the ga,e and played so much I got to the point where I could play with the user interface off in tactical battles completely ( this is utterly suicidal ) and did an entire legendary vampires campaign like that.
