If you watch the vid in the link, it supports my numerous posts regarding the liberal propaganda machine that is known as the "mainstream media". That is one obvious point. The 2nd and even more important one, is that people need to know about this. If you watch only mainstream news or read so-called mainstream sites like let's say Yahoo, then the most you've heard on this subject is that 3 CNN employees were fired or they quit.

People need to know why. This explains it. It also shows CNN, which is the leading news source for so many on the left, to be what it is. The propaganda arm of the Democratic Party.

Better?

Historically and globaly seen the US democratic is far from left wing.
You have to start understanding in what kind of country you are living and comparing it to other countries.
Since the years of Reagan and Thatcher the western world has shifted so much to the right it is scary, very scary.

And I mean everyone has the right to his own opinions: if you are happy with a class society, if you are happy with 10s of millions of uninsured people, that is your opinion, but don't come with this crap about liberal CNN.
For us CNN would be very much on the right side of the spectrum, and on happines indexes we are usually doing pretty OK.

Pretty much this. The US has basically a centrist party (Democrats) and a very far right party (Republicans). There has never actually been a prominent, genuine left-wing party here (The joke that is the CPUSA does NOT count - they are basically democrats that call themselves communist, but every actual communist knows they are a bourgeois liberal party that backs liberal candidates and isn't a revolutionary party even in the slightest). The most prominent American left-wing figure I can think of was Daniel De Leon, a member of the SLP which was probably best example of an American party committed to revolutionary politics, at least for a time.

I've said it many times before, but it bears repeating. Dems and Republicans are two sides to the same capitalist coin, who have far more similarities than they do differences. Their fundamental disagreement is simply how to best manage the affairs of the ruling class. The Dems just happen to be a little better and more efficient at it, since they are looking at the long-term interests of keeping the capitalist system going, whereas Republicans are more vested in the immediate and short-term goals of the capitalists.
There is no monolithic Democrat or Republican. As for comparative center, both are in actions, centrist, supporting a big federal bureaucracy. Totalitarian yes, but they can be left, right, or as in our case center. It is state power whether they order you to mandatory spending on an insurance product, to comply with a soda ban for your health, or "war on drugs" type state police power. Unions fell apart from within, they were not destroyed from externalities. I saw it firsthand thru the eyes of my Teamster father. He was dedicated, loyal, but what do you do when the job leaves the state or country? As an aside, imagine what happens to teamsters, cab drivers, limos, etc when self driving cars become ubiquitous. How do unions protect workers from obsolescence?

Compared to Europe, we have very little extreme right or left. There are of course, some hundreds of vocal adherents in the extremes. Every once in awhile, they get some press when it can sell some freak show ad revenue.
