Do the crucified skeletons mean anything?

Crucified Skeletons in Leo's room act as switches. They open up a wall on the north side of Leo's tomb room.

Then what are the others switches for? In the rooms before entering the area where leoric is?

One switch (to the left side) opens the gates that allows you to eneter Leo's tomb. The other switch on the right side opens up a secret treasure room right there in the room where you pulled the switch.
