[Terenas] -- Raiding this week cancelled
#1
After several weeks where we had one Friday raidlock do well and the other in a wipefest, the raid leaders have decided to take a break from raiding and re-visit gearing up.

While we're happy to see progress, and we are clearly able to make 2 discrete raidlocks that can clear to Curator, we want to be able get more consistency.

We aren't necessarily blaming gearing or raid leadership or any one thing in particular. Truthfully I don't think we are totally clear on what is causing the issues. However, we do know that gearing up DPS classes will make encounters easier just because there is less time for mistakes and such. It's also clear with the experience we have with Curator that that fight is very much dependent on DPS... you need a certain threshold of DPS to kill the adds, and any level above that is able to go onto the boss. Because of the initial threshold, a 100 DPS improvement in overall raid DPS could translate to a very, very signficant improvement on what actually gets on the boss.

At the same time as these issues are draining to the people who have gotten unlucky with ending up in troubled raids several weeks, raid leaders are a bit exhausted by spending considerable effort to come up with what they believe the best distribution of the people among the 2 raidlocks, only to see a huge disparity in what each is able to achieve.

---------

So at this point we are taking a break from raiding. One week, possibly two. We'd like to see as much progress as possible during this haitus in gearing the least well geared folk.

What we're hoping (and we have no reason to believe this won't happen), is that the well geared folk will offer as much help as possible with helping out the less well geared folk.
However, an integral part of this is to have the people with needs speaking up. We can't help what we don't know about, so please don't be afraid to ask for help if you have a significant shortcoming.

There is a great deal of GOOD blue gear available from questing. I have compiled a list of quest lines with blue rewards in Blade's Edge, Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley. While these aren't always the "ideal" piece of gear for a particular gear spot, they are the easiest way to get guaranteed rewards. We all know that the randomness of loot dropping doesn't always cooperate with desires for gear. How many Shadow Labs runs have there been vs. warriors with Bold Shoulders? How many Black Morass runs did RTM make for his off-hand sword he wanted? Please consider these quests due to the guaranteed nature of the rewards. I'll post it tomorrow in this thread because it's on my work computer, I forgot to email it to myself on Friday.

In the absence of someone with a specific gearing request, we'd like to see focus on heroic keys. At last check, I saw 16 mains without all 5 heroic keys... 11 needing 3 or more.

I'd like to reiterate that we dont' know for sure that it's a DPS issue, but having more DPS can't hurt and having our tanks and healers getting some other choice pieces through this process won't hurt either. :) We can also have a nice little enchanting party to help folks even more when they get their new shinies this week. :)

We aren't pointing fingers; we just want to eliminate any frustration that folks may be having with the luck of the draw and make things as fun for people as we can.

There are no healing upgrades for Mogo out of the normal dungeons. There are however caster and melee gear that she can pick up from them and, of course, the patterns that I lust after out of most of the dungeons so I'm definitely available for healing these runs and since we won't be raiding, I don't have to spend my evenings fishing. :) For her healing gear, Heroic Slave Pens is her top concern.

Edit: I should also specify that I'm available to heal the world group quests too, even though I'm still a bit behind on a lot of the questlines to get to the group steps.

To make the best use of this week, I will be on both Tuesday and Friday. I will even try to stay up late on Tuesday.

The first thing I would like to do is get revered with Keepers of Time to get the Continuum Blade. My current Keepers of Time rep is 8025/12000.

The second thing I would like to do is get revered with Cenarion Expedition to get the heroic key. My current Cenarion Expedition rep is 9522/12000.

The other thing that would help me out is enchants. I have none and I have not yet looked into what I want or can afford.

Doing targeted group quests would be helpful also. I need to look into which ones have good rewards.

Edit:
I just remembered that when I did Shadow Lab I was too low to get the quests. This means that I still need to do the quest to get Shattrath Wraps

Black Morass runs will move you fairly rapidly on the rep for Keepers of Time, as they go quickly, and I personally find them fun, so I'd be up for running 2 or 3 or 4 Black Morass runs right after one another to get you repped up. Fazuul also wants CE rep, so I'm more than happy/willing to help out in the Coilfang dungeons to get the rest of the rep you need there.

So Necrali has no drops in regular five mans, and she has all of her heroic keys.

My first preference these days is heroic Slave Pens.

As far as helping people get their keys, only Thrallmar rep is useless to me -- CE, KoT, LC, and TK all have a significant upgrade at exalted rep. If possible, focusing my help on a single rep would be better rather than building them all up at the same time which is what I seem to be doing.

I'm closest with Sha'tar rep, but that tends to be the one that everyone has. So I'll help where needed, but if there is any chance of doing a heroic (any heroic) that would be awesome.

Marn has a few drops I can get from normals that are sidegrades or just for completionism (the rest of the beast lord set, shoulders from SV, helm from Mech) and the haste trinket from Mech would be a nice swap trinket as well.

As far as rep. I'm completely maxed on Keepers of Time and Sha'tar.

The rep I want the most at the moment in Consortium. But I need heroics for that.

I'm up for any and all heroics and while I have a few potential upgrades in them, none are big enough for me to worry that much about and some of them will not be upgrades after I get another primal nether.

I'll go pretty much anywhere, as always, and I'll step out of just about anything if someone else can get more, as always.

It's all just zeroes and ones and duct tape in the end.

BLADE’S EDGE QUESTS
-----

“The Hound Master” – Starts by killing a ‘Fel Corruptor’ in the high desert in Blade’s Edge East of Evergrove (Cenarion Flight point in Blade's Edge). These kills are part of the quest “Culling the Wild” offered by Faradrella in Evergrove.

end quest link showing progression and very nice neck rewards: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10912

Can be soloed by some classes. Duoed for sure by any combination

-----

The Rexxar quest line in Blade’s Edge. This is a very long line. The rewards are not spectacular except for Rogues. Very good pants for Rogues.

The quest starts with Thunderlord Clan Head dropped by Ogres in Blade’s Edge. This will typically drop in the process of doing “The Bladespire Threat” which is offered by Twoclaws in the center of the main horde town in Blade’s edge.

The quest line is very long, do as much as you can solo or get a couple people to help you out.

Final quest link with rewards: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10742

This is a long line and a lot of work, but the rogue pants are really nice.

-----
SHADOWMOON VALLEY QUESTS
-----

The Teron Gorefiend questline in Shadowmoon Valley, also known as “the spectrecles” questline. A fairly short questline for good rewards. Starts with the quest “A haunted history” in Shadowmoon Village from Chief Apothecary Hildagard.

Final quest link: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10639
Rewards aren’t listed as a part of the quest, you can see them by searching for “of second sight” and ignoring the “scintillating” one (which is a heroic drop). In general the line offers a very nice DPS headpiece for most classes.

-----

Netherwing quest line. This is the start of the Netherwing mount questline that will be fully implemented in 2.1. It appears to be “the off-hand questline” as the rewards all seem to be pointed at off-hands for various classes.

Starts from a wandering NPC in Netherwing field named Mordenai. It’s good to start this after getting the group portion of the Teron Gorefiend questline (because it’s near there)

Final quest: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10870

-----

Battle of the Crimson Watch. Very nice rings for most classes / specs. Very short quest line. This needs no prep, as you need a group to take down the elite who drops the item that offers this quest (wanders around Path of Conquest). Also offers an interesting tabard.

Quest / rewards link: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10781

-----

Cipher of Damnation: IMPORTANT: This quest line is long itself, but is necessary for later raiding (much later) in that it’s the start of attunement for the 25 man raid in Tempest Keep “The Eye”. This is T5 level raiding and not in the near future, but there is a LOT to these attunements (including several heroic instance quests). Best to get this done ASAP.

I’m not going to go through all that is needed for this quest line, there is a summary in the comments here (as well as links to the rewards, all weapons): http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10588

Be warned the pig farmer steps are notoriously frustrating.

-----

Varedis… Different leadups for Aldor or Scryer. Basically do the quests at the “faction camp” of your choice. Rewards are, a very nice healing dagger, caster sword, rogue chest, hunter legs, and cat staff. Medium length questline that sends you to Nagrand and back to Shadowmoon.

Final quest link: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10651

-----

Akama questline: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10628 eventually leading to: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10708
Starting quests differ depending on whether you're Scryer or Aldor. Rewards include some of the best druid tanking gloves, a decent off-hand dagger, one of the better DPS caster belts, plus some other rewards.

-----
NETHERSTORM QUESTS
-----

Naberius. Starts with getting the staff together for the Kirin in Area 52 http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10173
Partway through this chain opens another branch that leads to Naberius (“Malevolent Remnants”)
The quest rewards aren’t great, but he is EASILY duoable.

Final link w/ rewards: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10320

-----

“You, Robot” Starts from Ethereal in Area 52 “Pick your part”, you also have to have done the Jr. technician quests from the guy in the center of Area 52. These open a quest on Mama Wheeler in the first ecodome. Eventually leads to mediocre Rogue legs (too much stam) good shaman legs, and an okay pally tanking helm… Oh, and an awesome novelty helm that launches you way into the air

End quest: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10249

-----

Deathblow to the Legion – A lengthy questline that is a little different if you are Aldor or Scryer. I’m not going to go into the details, but it basically requires shutting down all the manaforges and then a few extra steps. Melee ring is very nice, cat Druid shoulders and hunter gloves.

Final Link w/ rewards (note there are two versions of this quest with identical rewards, this link is the Aldor link): http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10409

-----

Dimensius the All-Devourer. A very short quest line that offers decent tanking trinket, DPS caster helm, shaman healing chest and pally healing legs (sucks to be a pally having to choose between the trinket and the healer legs). Starts with “recipe for destruction” from Professor Dabiri who is at the ethereal post near Manaforge Ultris.

Link to Final quest / rewards: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10439

-----

Arcatraz Key quest line: Full quest line details here: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10205

It’s pretty long. 2 reward quests:
http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10280
http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10704
There is a followup to kill the Arcatraz boss, but the rewards are purely PvP oriented.

-----

Nexus King line. Kinda painful quest line, but not too long from the Ethereal camp near Manaforge Ultris. Decent 2H weapon rewards for most classes + an okay dagger. I don’t think any of these are spectacular, but they are all worthy starter blues if you are still using a green:

non-instance drops for prot warriors putting together a DPS set option:

Most, if not all of our prot warriors are pretty well geared on the defense side of things. They can potentially use this opportunity to gear up their DPS side a bit. There are fights where only one tank is needed, and there is a fight (Aran) where there are some strategies that use no real tanking at all. Prot DPS is not tas trivial as it used to be... provided you have the right gear. So I made this guide for some of the better available "guaranteed" rewards, be they from quests, crafts, or reputation. Gearing for DW Fury will be similar.

Head: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31105 (Shadowmoon Valley questline – Teron Gorefiend)

Neck: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31695 (Blade’s Edge questline – Houndmaster) If you took the tanking reward from there then another option is http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29815 (Netherstorm quest)

Shoulders: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30005 are pretty good, and the questline isn’t too bad. Some tanks may have taken the ring instead, in this case http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30275 or http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30964 are good options and both are part of other quest lines. The second is a part of a rather important questline in Shadowmoon valley.

Cloak: Nagrand quest (fairly quick and easy sequence, probably need 2 or 3 for the last quest): http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28031

Chest: Only one true option, and it’s a part of the Arcatraz key line, and there is no other option warriors would be interested in as a reward from this quest: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30258

Bracers: Surprisingly, the best non-puple DPS warrior bracers are green and a quest reward from an EASY quest in Netherstorm: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30352 quest: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10345 Very quick and easy to complete. There is a quest in the protectorate (ethereal area north of the cave) that leads to this cave, I don’t recall the exact quest, but it is useful to have the bracers quest available if you want to do that one, because the igniter makes things MUCH quicker. But if you don’t care, just do this quest and get great bracers you can be comfortable enchanting with STR because there’s nothing better before Gruul except a crafted set that requires a Primal Nether.

Gloves: Ragesteel (crafted, I have the pattern, and I’m sure I’m not alone) http://www.wowhead.com/?item=23520 , AH gauntlets: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31180 Or green quest rewards like: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31473 (blade’s edge quest)

Belt: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29807 is pretty good, and it’s a fun quest. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31480 may be slightly better for DPS but no STAM.

Pants: I use http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31298 which required some AH scouring and 100G. However, these http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29980 are pretty close, free, and good enough to warrant a Cobrahide kit if you have the primals.

Feet: Most will have: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28176 from Shadow Labyrinth quest, these are good with 2x +6 STR gems in them. Slightly better is: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29786 from a Netherstorm quest. This quest doesn’t open up until you are a few steps down the questline starting with this quest: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10173

Rings: Aldor Revered: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29128
Netherstorm questline http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30365
Netherstorm questline http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30860
Shadowmoon questline http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31380 or http://www.wowhead.com/?item=31381
Various green rewards too, like this one in Netherstorm: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30339

Trinkets:
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29776 (Netherstorm questline)
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25628 (Nagrand series)

Ranged:
I can make: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29204

I've got a similar quest list, but my focus was on quests that you're likely to need 3+ people to do, so you can prep for those quests that the guild only does once in a blue moon. Enjoy.
Warning: This is very long.
---

Netherstorm:

Congealed Void Horror:
Logistically easy, one-shot kill, loot, & turn in. I mostly mention this because if you don't know the quest exists you'd probably never get it.
-The Horrors of Pollution
Quest start item drops from the Congealed Void Horror, which spawns in the toxic river south of Nexus-King Salhadaar. Follow the yellow-aggro Void Waste oozelings to the point where they drop dead on their own. He isn't always up, I guess the idea is that the ooze is congealing at that spot, but I don't know if a certain number of oozes have to make it there and die to get him to spawn. The mob itself hits pretty hard and is immune to stuns, so you'll need a healer or at least a tank + good dps.

Scryer/Aldor Chains:
These are basically two separate but intertwining questlines(ending in two different blue loot quests). There are a LOT of steps in these, and unfortunately if you concentrate soley on these quests you will miss other quests from area 52 or Consortium that are in the same area, mostly the manaforges. Those don't require much in the way of a group, however. One other thing to note is that you can do both the scryer and the aldor versions of this questline on the same character, and the rewards are different. I believe you just need to be friendly in order for the quests to be available, though it is possible that you must choose a side first (which is the only practical way of getting friendly unless you're a blood elf or draenai). These start in the inn in Area 52. Pick up any quests you see in the inn and do them all, as sometimes two quests will be available at once. Up until the Coruu quest, all quests are prerequisites for both lines.
-Manaforge B'naar(Scryer) / Distraction at Manaforge B'naar(Aldor)
-(more quests)
-Shutting Down Manaforge Coruu(Scryer) / Shutting Down Manaforge Coruu(Aldor)
Completing the Coruu shutdown opens up the second questline - the one that leads to Socrethar. See below.
-(more quests)
-Shutting Down Manaforge Ara(Scryer) / Shutting Down Manaforge Ara(Aldor)
Ara is significantly harder than the previous shutdown quests. Mobs spawn in groups of 3 and noticably faster. If you damage one of them, and thus stop his shutdown cancel channel, the others that have not been interrupted will run around like headless chickens until interrupted. Also, an elite spawns about halfway through the fight to stop you. To top it all off, the demon who drops the control crystal will probably respawn and aggro on you at some point during the shutdown.

-Kick Them While They're Down(Scryer) / Sunfury Briefings(Aldor)
-(more quests)
-Turning Point(Scryer) / Deathblow to the Legion(Aldor)
If you do not have a flying mount you must use the teleporter to access Socrethar's Seat. It might also be necessary to cause the Aldor NPCs to spawn. Aldors will receive NPCs to help fight the boss, but also have to fight another mob just prior to the boss. Scryers will receive an item which reduces the boss' damage and increases his damage taken. With both an aldor and a scryer participating, he's pretty simple. Alone, Scryers will probably have it easier than Aldors, especially if you don't let the NPCs tank.

Etherium Chain:
Fairly simple line that is at least all in the same area. Starts at the protectorate watch post, just NW of Manaforge Ultris.
-The Ethereum
-(more quests)
-Delivering the Message
This one can be a bit tricky, but it is definitely soloable. This is what you'd dream of if you had a nightmare about an escort quest. The npc does not stop for anything or help fight, but it will still happily aggro stuff, or trick you into aggroing stuff. The good news is that all you have to do is keep him alive until you get quest complete. You can either clear out all the mobs south of the imager pad to the conduit that goes down the side of the mountain beforehand, or just keep everything occupied while he does his business. Aggro them all on your mount and ride around, whatever works.
-Nexus-King Salhadaar
Should be fairly easy for a full group, but one thing to note is that his ice tomb will remove all of your buffs - including a druid's shapeshift, and, so I hear, a warrior's _stance_.

Shadowmoon Valley:

Uvuros:
Another logistically easy quest, pick up, kill, loot, turn in. From the wanted poster in your faction-alligned town. Unfortunately, the rewards are only green items, even though it's marked as a 4-man.
-Wanted: Uvuros, Scourge of Shadowmoon(Alliance) / Wanted: Uvuros, Scourge of Shadowmoon(Horde)
This guy didn't strike me as particularly tricky to kill. A full group should defeat him handily.

Befriending the Netherwing Dragons:
This is the quest chain to obtain neutral rep with the Netherwing faction. Also has some item rewards. You must complete this series before you can begin working on rep to obtain a Netherwing Dragon flying mount. You MUST have a flying mount in order to do this quest chain: The major NPC questgiver in this sequence is flying, so you can only talk to him in midair. For the most part, all of the quests are in the same area, east of the Scryer town.
-Kindness
-(more quests)
-Zuluhed the Whacked
This is a type of escort quest, when you accept the quest the event starts. So make sure everyone in your group has turned in the previous quest and does not have this quest in their log before starting, otherwise they may not get credit. It is advised to clear the area prior to starting, including the two towers nearby. Archers will spawn on the ramparts, so you will want to fight him inside the towers. He will also probably summon in an add during the fight, though if you burn him down fast he may not get a chance. If you take too long he may summon again! It's possible to ignore the add if you move to the other tower when he opens a portal... it will summon in away from the battle and won't aggro.
-Ally of the Netherwing
This is the quest where you actually get the loot & rep rewards.

Gorefiend Chain:
Starts with a quest in the alliance/horde towns, leading to the ancient orc spirit by the shadow altar, and then back for the rewards. In order to finish this one, you'll need a flying mount, or a warlock to summon, as the 5-man group quest is on netherwing ledge. You'll do a bit of traveling, but not too much, and not too far - it's all in Shadowmoon.
-A Ghost in the Machine(Alliance) / A Haunted History(Horde)
-(more quests)
The next three quests are given at the same time, as prereq to the following quests.
-Divination: Gorefiend's Cloak
-Divination: Gorefiend's Truncheon
-Divination: Gorefiend's Armor
This is the quest that actually requires a group. Again, not particularly hard for a balanced group.
-Teron Gorefiend, I am...(Alliance) / Teron Gorefiend, I am...(Horde)
This is the quest where you actually get the loot rewards. Note that there is no actual followup to this quest, but when you turn it in the NPC tells you that the helms will let you see Gorefiend, and to destroy him should you ever find him. Possibly an outdoor raid boss in shadowmoon? A boss in Black Temple? In any case, I would not sell the reward, as if it is discovered that you DO need it to fight him, you'll want to use the reward instead of having to use the statless spectrecles.

Ashtongue Chain - possibly has to do with black temple attunement?:
This is another Aldor/Scryer questline, at least at first. Starting in the respective faction towns, it eventually leads to the Warden's Cage where you'll meet some ashtongue deathsworn quest NPCs, who will continue the line to the end. Mostly, this chain is all in shadowmoon, if a bit spread out - however, before the big group quest, you will be sent to the Arcatraz in Tempest Keep(room just before the final boss has your goal). There is a very real possibility that this quest will have something to do with the Black Temple, as the items you are tasked to find are said to be the key to entry. (As a side note, remember back in Netherstorm, the prereq to the Arcatraz key questline? You had to retrieve another Ata'mal crystal from the burning legion that was also delivered to the Naaru.)
-Tablets of Baa'ri(Scryer) / Tablets of Baa'ri(Aldor)
-(more quests)
-The Ata'mal Terrace
As you attack the three elites channeling at the crystal, nonelite adds will spawn in clumps of 3 to attack you. Not truly hard with a full group, but you can range down the channelers from on top of the buildings without retaliation if you get there early:). Once those are cleaned up, the big guy will come down and you'll have to kill him for the crystal.
-Akama's Promise
This is the quest where you actually get the loot rewards.

Varedis:
This is the major Aldor/Scryer questline in Shadowmoon, starting in the respective faction towns. Unlike Netherstorm, the questlines and rewards are completely identical, and I hear you cannot do both faction's questlines as in Netherstorm. This chain leads to several other zones in outland, as well as requiring a shadow labyrinth run (second boss). Fairly easy until the instance quest, though it'll take you all over.
-Karabor Training Grounds(Scryer) / Karabor Training Grounds(Aldor)
-(more quests)
-Varedis Must Be Stopped(Scryer) / Varedis Must Be Stopped(Aldor)
These guys are at the southern terrace of the Black Temple. Varedis himself isn't all that tricky, just remember the tip of not standing somewhere where the ground is on fire. Also, someone with the quest needs to use the book on him when he transforms. Hopefully you won't have a druid tank as the only one with the book, as it can't be used in bear/cat. The other three mobs are spread out over the terrace but are easier. Don't bother using the book on them, it won't do anything.

Path of Conquest Battle:
While working on The Path of Conquest (Horde) / (Alliance) series, especially when you have to kill Corok and the Chancellor, is a good time to pick up and do this fairly quick yet hard quest series. The journal that starts the line drops off the named mounted patrol surrounded by guards. To do the followup, it's a good idea to have a full 5, if not more!
-The Journal of Val'zareq: Portends of War
-Battle of the Crimson Watch
This is a type of escort quest, when you accept the quest the event starts. So make sure everyone in your group has turned in the previous quest and does not have this quest in their log before starting, otherwise they may not get credit. It's not necessary to clear the nearby mobs, though it might make things a bit safer. You might also want to watch for others in the area aggroing things and bringing it into the battlezone. It's quite easy to do this with more than one group, you don't have to worry about tags or loot, all that has to happen is that every spawn dies. Only the group that started the quest will get credit, of course. There will be a series of waves, each with varying difficulty. It may be a good idea to bring two tanks or two healers (or two each) if you're only using one group. The first mass of mobs seems to go down quick even though they're elite. The second group of beholder-types will do massive damage - interrupting their spells can really help. The third group may require some fancy footwork. The final mob should be a straight up fight, aside from the fact that you're probably not going to be at full strength for it. Don't take this quest too lightly! Even though it only recommends 4...!

Cipher of Damnation - Leads to Tempest Keep Raid attunement:
This is without a doubt the longest of these shadowmoon chains. It is doubly worth it, however, since not only are the rewards pretty awesome, but it opens up the questline to obtain the key to The Eye, the Tempest Keep raid instance. The first quest will start from someone in the alliance/horde town, but all the rest are neutral faction. Quite a bit of traveling to do, though most of it is in shadowmoon (one trip to shatt).
-The Hand of Gul'dan(Alliance) / The Hand of Gul'dan(Horde)
-(more quests)
A ways down into this line, you will have three questlines open up at once, one for each son.
-Grom'tor, Son of Oronok
-(more quests)
-The Cipher of Damnation - The First Fragment Recovered
Green rewards for this step. While doing this one, I'd recommend doing the escort quest inside Coilskar Cistern.

-Ar'tor, Son of Oronok
-(more quests)
-The Cipher of Damnation - The Second Fragment Recovered
Green rewards.

-Borak, Son of Oronok
-(more quests)
-The Cipher of Damnation - The Third Fragment Recovered
This one requires killing Ruul, who while not requiring a full 5 people, is definitely not soloable for most folks, so you'll probably want to do this at the same time as the final group quest anyway. The rewards for this line are blue, as well.
-The Cipher of Damnation
There will be some NPCs to help you fight the boss, so as usual, the group quest should be easy enough. Once you complete this quest, Khadgar will have a quest for you (and you will get an in-game mail informing you of this) that leads to the Eye attunement.

There's really only one upgrade (and it's slight) from 5 mans that I need, and it's the healing shoulder from Slabs.

However, like I said, it's a very slight upgrade, imo. I am available on Tuesday and Friday to heal whatever instance people need.

I have two pieces I still need from non-heroic, my Nexus Horn from the last boss in Arca, and gloves from the mech in the vault of steam. I'll try and put in a few nigts on Vinnie this week to help out, and I'd also like to hit exalted with LC. Other than that, everything I need is from heroics (including one more primal nether to finish my nexus strike set) so i'd definitely be interested in running a few of those.

I have one or two sidegrade drops in non-heroic instances for my tanking set. This week, I plan on ensuring that others get the runs that they need, but I'd also like to improve my DPS gear set, if possible. My most desired non-heroic instances are the Tempest Keep instances, Arcatraz, The Mechanar, and Botanica. There are several drops in each that I would be happy to get.

For heroics, I need Badges of Justice, but Auchenai Crypts, The Mechanar, and Blood Furnace have several desirable drops for me.

Tuesday was pretty successful...

- Octord got several upgrades (4?) and Keepers of Time revered
- Shiki got several upgrades (3?)
- Kaydoll got a 2nd DPS trinket, which is good because what she was using was a defensive trinket.
- Keshoga, I'm not entirely certain as I wasn't in any of his runs. He got revered with Keepers of Time and made a dent in his CE progress towards revered at the very least.
- Attumen was killed and we had people there to take his loot that could use it (Octord -- cloth DPS gloves and Fazuul for the leather healing Bracers of the White <strike>shard</strike> err, Stag.)

Conc / Concillian -- Vintage player of many games. Deadly leader of the All Pally Team (or was it Death leader?)
Terenas WoW player... while we waited for Diablo III.
And it came... and it went... and I played Hearthstone longer than Diablo III.

Mav made good progress on Thrallmar rep and picked up a dagger upgrade from the 2headed Orge, also keyed Dhen with Thrallmar.

Well, so far this "gearing up" week isn't working out all that well for me. Not so much that I haven't gotten any upgrades (I don't really need much, honestly) but I haven't even been able to get into groups to help others. I did get a Shadow Lab run last night (thank you to those involved), but I couldn't get it going until 10:30 ST, which meant I really should have just gone to bed. So, I've found the last few days to be kind of frustrating.

Anywhoo...

I'd really like to get into something earlier tomorrow night (friday), since I actually have to get up on Saturday morning for once. I expect to come online between 8 and 8:30 ST. I'd enjoy going to SH (still need that key) or just about any heroic. Heroic Slave Pens, Sethekk Halls or Aucenai Crypts would all be good for me, but mostly I'd just like to go do something fun. Who can I rope into planning a group ahead of time? :)

I'm there. I can get basically anything else I need to get done during the day so I'm all yours Friday night. *healbot mode engaged*

Well in the absence of other in-game plans for tomorrow (which I haven't seen anything yet), I should be around and itching for a heroic. Top need is still Slave Pens, but I'll go anywhere.

Huge thanks to Tigo, Shim, Jester and Dhen for being the good lucky people who helped me get my Nexus horn on a redeye run last tonight. And also a huge thankst o everyone who came on the other 12 runs.

Now, who needs help gearing up with what now. I'm done in 5 man stuff finally. :D
