Last night Maexxna fell on our first night of attempts and the Spider Wing of Naxxramus was cleared. This came right on the heels of our first kill of Grand Widow Faerlina on Saturday, where the intrepid Lum of <Lurkers> handled the mind controlling of the Worshippers.
Kel'Thuzad was not amused, and was mean and yelled at us. So we ported back to the start and creamed Mr. Bigglesworth in revenge. Jerk.
Unable to defeat her in just one enraged Web Spray, we had to last through two Web Spray cycles during Enrage. This naturally punked the MT, and our secondary tank survived long enough to pull off one of those classic "OMG 2%! OMG 1% BURN IT! BURN IT!" wins that every guild enjoys on some first kills, as raid members die and die and die all around you...

You forgot to mention my heroic challenging shout of the bugs off the healers at 2% only to get webbed and killed at 1%.;)

Awesome news. So glad to hear you guys is kicking ass, taking names, and having fun over there!

Congrats guys!
My guild on Malygos killed her for the first time this weekend. First attempt of the evening went awry early. Second attempt we got her down to 1%. Killed some Stone Gargoyles in the Plague Wing while waiting for Shield Wall and Lay on Hands timers then headed back to slay her.
Some tricks we found:
- We *always* have two enrage sprays, and we never keep the MT up through the second one so we have an OT building aggro. The OT gets HoTted and pre-emptively Shield Walls before the second Enrage spray which seems to ensure they make it out of the web spray alive.
- Soulstones on warriors are good for ensuring maximum damage during the enrage.
We had some learning attempts on Noth afterwards, then killed him in about 2 hours on the next session. General consensus was that after Maexxna he was *easy*.
