About the current pornographic spam in the D2 section?
I hit report post, do all the usual stuff, nothing happening.

Hmm, I'm pretty adamant that I encountered identical spambot messages over at the Star Alliance and Realms Beyond.
Fire is far too good for the purpose, but it still works.

I strongly disagree with you.
It would be more like giving a kindergarten student a flamethrower.
(Ok, it might be cute for the first 5 minutes or so. But 5 minutes of amusement isn't worth the charring to follow.)

I beg your pardon but I am a mod on a couple of forums. And somehow I manage with out charring to many bystanders.
I don't want full blown admin powers, just the ability to destroy spam bot postings. I really don't like them, and relish the chance to destroy them.
Not a full blown forum mod, just a spam-bot-destroyer-mod. :shuriken:

It's already gone. Other spam from what I saw has also been deleted or locked. Your original complaint that hitting the report button but 'nothing happens' might just be slightly off.
If you meant nothing happened instantly, you are absolutely right. I also reported a few spam post, and nothing happened within the first 5 seconds, even 5 minutes. Some of these moderators might be slacking off a bit by having other commitments besides monitoring this site 24/7/365.
If you really want to destroy evil robots, why not save your ammo for the real bad guys. Like this guy, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:T800-in-flames.JPG I heard he's stalking some woman named Sarah Connor.
Or if you still harbor extreme resentment towards spambots and all their gastrobotic ilk (I don't fully trust them either) save a couple of armor piercing ammo for this dude, http://www.howstuffworks.com/news-item107.htm Don't let his cute exterior fool you, inside he's pure evil and would love nothing more than to feast on your delicious carcass.
