I've been trying to collect all the Blackrock Spire quests I can, and I think I have them all except "The Final Tablet" I think it's called... but to get that I have to go get a couple other tablets from some Trolls in Eastern Plaguelands... I can't solo it... I tried.
We also should go talk to that blue dragon in winterspring... I can almost solo that, but not quite.
I can't find groups to do either... I've tried.
Any interest?
Oh... anyone else got their Scholomance key yet?

Yeah, it's not soloable, but it can probably be duoed. I ended up getting my tablets by providing a kind of quid-pro-quo assistance for a couple of guys who needed to kill the dwarf miniboss near the undead trolls. Once I helped them, they helped me get the tablets. It's pretty fast, since you can skip most of the trolls.

If you're willing to cheese through it a bit, you can take off all your armor and weapons to avoid armor repair costs and do a small series of rez-run-die's. The caverns are big enough that you can sneak past a lot of the dragons and even when you're spotted, you can run and make it pretty far. You'd probably only have to die about three times all told to get to the portal in the large end chamber.

Only one person in the party has to have a key to get in. In fact, all you need is a rogue with well developed lockpicking skills in the party. This didn't stop me from getting my own key, though, since I'm a questaholic.

Flyn's out of town right now until atleast Saturday, probably Sunday...so everyone is working on other characters or just going with Raids into BRS, Strat, or Scholo looking for class set items (got my Wraps...yay! :w00t: ).

Next time you're on, I'll drag out Rylea, unless I'm in an instance, and go do them with you. And I've got a Scholomance key (yes, I, the poor enchanter, sacrificed my 15 gold...nah, I'm a questaholic too) so the rest of you can skip it, if you like.

You five have been doing your runs together. If you don't have a full group, don't forget that Lochnar and Yuen are also around and we have a few getting close. You know that I've said over and over how much I hate grouping and instances with pickup groups, and that has been further reinforced lately, but I have also said "any lurker group, anytime, anywhere" (SM escorts for guaranteed chapeau drops anyone? :P ). If you want a fill-in, give a yell. I am generally on as soon as I can be and stay on until it's time to end my day. Although I may be afk while attending to RL things that need doing, I usually check the chat to see if anything has been addressed to me.

I think we'll be soon set for doing Lurker raids on the big instances (BRS, Strat, and Scholo). I know Tal, Mentat, and Bun are closing in and Bolty should hit 60 before the weekend.

I just updated all the image links for my beta writeup of Scholomance, if you'd like to get a sneak peek at what's there. About the only things that have changed are that the respawn timers are much longer on mobs (thank God), and the loot tables on the bosses and the item rewards for quests have changed. Enjoy!

That would be most enjoyable! I have stopped raiding with Ninuin because i grew tired of same old same but also the pettiness of the general community. With Lurkers we always, always have fun and thats why i play this game:) With our small group we have tried and completed things that most public groups would never try.

Hey guys,
This seemed to be a reasonable place to jump in without starting an extra thread. I just rolled into town a little while ago and desperately need some sleep (a 15 hour drive will do that). When I wake up at some point Sunday and reorient myself to the real world I'll check in and see what's up. Chances are I will be good to go somewhere Sunday night. You'll just have to deal with me patching up to date and figuring out how my UIs have been completely borked and making them work again. But anyway, need sleep now. I'll catch you all later.
