Deathchargers Reins
#1
The German WOW fansite inWOW.de just reports the discovery of a new droppable high-level item that allows you to summon and dismiss an Epic Mount!

Item Stats:

Quote:Deathcharger's Reins
Binds when picked up
Unique
Races: Human, Orc, Dwarf, Night Elf, Undead, Gnome, Troll
Requires Level 60
Use: Summons and dismisses Baron Rivendare's steed.
This is a very fast mount.

Are you already dreaming of your own Epic Mount, which you can get at level 60 for the price of 1,000 gold? All players have now the opportunity to save that huge sum of gold because said Epic Mount is now available as drop, too!

In Stratholme, this rare reward can now be dropped by the named mob Baron Rivendare, and it looks similar to the Undead Epic Mount (Skeletal War Horse). As one can see on the picture, the mount can be used by almost all races. Only the poor Tauren cannot use it due to their body size and weight :) But maybe they have a not yet discovered simlilar item that allows them to get an Epic Kodo Mount for free.

The existence of this item has been known about for several months. It's very rare.

Oh .. then it must have been a first-time finding in Germany. Very rare then, indeed ;)

That exact screenshot is over six weeks old.

New, however, is the fact that Tauren has been added to the list of races allowed to ride it, as Baron Rivendare has apparently been pumping his undead horse full of drugs.

I'd still rather have plainsrunning.

Tehax is in my guild.

He also recently got an epic shield from Garr, a boss in molten core that's a wooden disk with 3 spikes on it that constantly spins.

He loves nothing more than the tells he gets everyday from the bewildered and jealous citizens of Ogrimmar
