WoW supported resolutions?
#1
Hello all.

Despite searching both the official World of Warcraft site, and sending Google on all sorts of searches, I have failed to find a list of supported video resolutions for World of Warcraft. Could someone be kind enough to post a list of supported resolutions? I am in the process of putting together a new machine to play World of Warcraft, and my monitor selection would be made much easier by knowing this information.

Thank you in advance,

As near as I can tell, WoW will support any resolutions that your graphics card and monitor will. I can run it in 1280x768 on my powerbook, and standard (1600x1200, etc) resolutions on my desktop.

I think that list may be dependent on your graphics card, as already mentioned. I run at 1280x854, which is native for my notebook, and you'll see that isn't on your list.

That's very true. Just mark it up to another idiot moment by me and ignore my post above.

Thank you so much for the information, Treesh. It's been 11 years since I had a system that was even remotely close to high-end, so I'm finding myself doing a ton of research like this. I know I can pick up that 20 inch LCD screen now, though. :)
