Is this a good deal?

D-Link DI-514 Wireless 802.11b Cable/DSL Router

This a wireless 4-port router that the store I work for sells. It's regular price is $79.97 (~$67 in US funds). This week it's on sale for $40 (~$33 USD). I've been thinking about picking one up, but I need to know if this is as good a deal as I think it is.

It would be if it were a 802.11A/G, but I don't think it's that great for 802.11B.

www.newegg.com :)

No.
There are two "common" standards for 802.11 wireless , the "b" and the "g". "b" is very slow, and pretty much obsolete. "g" is ten times as fast, and is downwardly compatible to "b" when necessary.

I've seen "b" only routers at give-away prices. $40 ain't give-away.
The D-Link DI-614 is decent, and cheap. Note, model is the 614, not the 514.
