The Saga ends

Thousands, if not millions, of people born in a generation who hadn't even heard of the "Superfreak" now recite things like "What? Yeah! O-kay!" and "I'm Rick James, --" on a daily basis. But the man behind the legend, the original superfreak, Rick James, has passed on.

...

...and on a lighter note, man, has this place changed.

An odd duck, whose album "Breaking out of L-7" was my first exposure to him.

Superfreak was without a doubt one of the finest party tunes every put together. What is sad is that a remix was made that just did not do it justice.

Rick lived large. Vaya con queso, amigo.

Occhi, did you mean "con queso" or "con Dios?" I'm sorry if I just didn't get the joke, but this seems like an odd sentiment after the apparent respect you had just expressed.

No es que yo pretenda ser el tipico "americano feo", sino que soy, simplemente, un americano que dehecho es feo.
