Needless to say, I am sceptical about anything I see on the Internet for obvious reasons.

Apparently, the news channel in question allowed schools and daycare centres to submit closures and reopenings via the web... And failed to check the validity of any of the entries.

Anyone?

This story is true. Some folks at Something Awful were among the pranksters. They had a thread going and posted new screenshots as they came in. It was an absolutely hilarious thread to watch.
