Well, I'm only number 366 in queue right now. By my estimation, I *should* make it on time.

I hope you all enjoyed this evening as much as I did. Such fun to see Nini and Skan and Catlyn and all of you I'd never seen before. Sharanna actually lightened up and had a drink! Hell must have indeed frozen over at that very moment!

The SW raid was a dream come true for me. What a wonderful ending to a darned near perfect party!

Hope you all had a great time raiding the Crossroads! How did that go????

As for what's next from Sabra - the hostess with the mostest ... well ... think early instances and timed trials, build up your alts to about level 23 or so, and I'll let you know as soon as I get it all worked out!

Lurkers Victorius!

I was so proud of Gnolack for standing there with the dragons and doing some damage and even stunning a couple of times! Even took some cleaves, but since he was in my group and no one else in my group was a melee fighter, I could just heal him and keep his crazy butt alive. :D

The Crossroads was fun. Too bad I didn't realize that my shield was too big for the two level 20's in my group. :( I never realized raids were so chaotic. In a big area like that, how are you supposed to keep track of people and stay organized? I mean, besides just the ones in your 5-man group.

I will say this though, it's awfully strange being on the Alliance side of a Crossroads raid. ;)

It was tons o' fun. My very first raid ever! I should have stayed back and healed a little more, but Treesh is right - it's tough keeping track of who's where. I think I kept trying to resurrect people who had already found their corpses and come back to life.

Voice chat is probably the easiest to keep things organized.

I'm sorry I missed the crossroads. We should hit the Crossroads again. :D

Raids at best are always chaotic and filled with lag. Apparently there is mods available that will show the entire raid party but i have yet to see how that works. But what was fun to me is we were all able to participate in this madly fun event. Seeing Gnolack beside me in the Inn killing NPC's, i was falling off my chair laughing. He was holding his own and doing quite well. Thats what made my night, watching the other Lurkers battle away along side the level 60's. I am very much up for doing this from time, having regular raids of Horde cities.

It was a blast. Thanks to Sharanna for the escort to the party, and the tabard. Now I really feel like a part of the Lurkers Guild.

It was also quite amusing to me to be a part of the raid. My first ever, as well. I was there, shooting arrows, and not hitting a thing until one of those dragon whatsits sneezed on me by accident, and killed me. I guess a 50+ level difference will do that. ;)

I still had a blast, and we'll have to do this again!

It was a blast. I was so happy when I took my first guard down unassisted as well. :) I was just glad to see that I could help out with little Gnolack (I say little and yet he is my biggest malt*) snaring what I could and smacking what I could. My system got choppy so I couldn't really pick my targets that well it was just hit tab and attack. :) I ended up in the Inn because I was chasing down a guard who ran that way and the Inn Keeper turned out to be my next target. :)

And of course as everyone in chat heard I was just beaming about landing a concussion blow against Onxyia's guard earlier in the night.

*malt - Main Alt; thanks to Catlyn for this wonderful term to describe people like Treesh and I who have no mains just a bunch of alts who split time pretty regularly so you end up with malts.

They're coming! They're coming! I should have remembered to turn on players nameplates though so you know in the screenies who everyone is. I have them turned of all the time.

Besides, there's a cropped screenie of GG's concussion blow afflicted one of the dragons. That's a screenie. :D

I have a scad, but I'm having trouble uploading them. Of course at 1 AM after a night of pyrotechnics, drinking and dragons .... hang in there!

And, btw, my name plates were on!

So??? Are we ready for ... what is it called ... Tauren Mills??? Or is it Olan Mills?

Tarren Mill, infested with Forsaken! (Actually, I think Sylvanas is the coolest character in the Warcraft universe).

Clicky!

I did the best I could in taking screenshots, but with how my computer ran during the raid I don't really have any actions shots. I hope someone got some shots of our decimation of the Crossroads guards.

Edit: made pics bigger. If you want I can make them bigger still, just didn't know what resolution people are at and didn't want to create long load times.

Sadly, I wasn't able to make it as I was busy studying for a midterm at the time, but next time I'll try harder to be there! :)

There's a lot of thought that goes into planning a succesful event.
Festivites ... logistics ... death by dragons. You have to take it all into account.

Yet somehow, when good people get together

and the party gets rolling,
[Image: GetDown3.jpg]
it tends to take on a life of its own.

People smile
[Image: Sharanna.jpg]
and dance
[Image: NiniTravolta.jpg]
and just generally unwind.

Maybe you meet someone new,
[Image: SabrasFutureHusband.jpg]
Or someone you've heard about but never actually seen,
[Image: HonoredGuest.jpg]
Or you simply take a moment to show off that new little black dress to dear old friends.

[color=yellow]When the evening gets late and the drinking slows down and the fireworks are gone and everybody starts to sober up, it's nice to have a fall back plan; something exciting and different that the group can do together.[COLOR=yellow]

Please see ... We Decided to go Out on the Town, which I managed to get in the wrong darned thread!

Here's of few of my better screen shots (Warning: Size is unaltered for you with slow speed connections).

The party is getting warmed up.

We are blistering the cobbles in Goldshire.

Off on some whim of Sir Reginald Windsor.

Wooo! :w00t: I was a major part of 2 out of the 3 screenshots. Too bad I lag-crashed crossing the Stormwind bridge and couldn't join the big party in the Keep. I heard it was killer.
