My signature quotation remains still true.  Not sure for how much longer.  Tonight I fell.  Nothing broken, but arm still bleeding.  Just a bit.  However after the fall I was unable to get myself up off the floor.  Fortunately my phone was within reach and I called a friend for help.  He had been ready for bed but he put his clothes back on and came to rescue me.

Other than that things have not been going well.  I've mentioned previously my problems with leg ulcers.  It's been three and a half years and the ulcers continue to get worse.  My lower legs have no skin.  After recent biopsies the dermatologist reported "Good news and bad news."  The good news, they found no cancer nor pyoderma gangrenosum (an autoimmune disease).  The bad news, he said, "I don't know how to heal you."

I'd love to hear news of more of us.

Very sorry that this is happening to you. It sucks. Hoping for some miracle. Also sorry about your fall (I've had two, just minor injuries so far.) ... here, here's a little humor: if you die soon, could I have your liver? you won't need it. (kinda dark, but it's all i have at the moment). in your honor, i'd change my nick to Lavandiablo. Sound cool?
